Kingston Village is a development project consisting of 18 townhouse units configured as nine duplexes within the City Limits of Mt. Shasta in Siskiyou County. It is located just past Mercy Hospital and the Eskaton projects, Shasta Manor and the George Washington Manors I and II. Located at the end of Kingston Road just off Pine Street on the east side of Highway 5 in the northwest corner of the City of Mt. Shasta next to the existing Willow Glen townhouses. The approved site plan calls for nine buildings, each a duplex configured such that each unit is an “end” unit with three sides of windows and light. Features include a ground floor 14’ X 14’ master bedroom with nine-foot ceilings, an adjoining master bath with dual vanities and a walk-in closet plus stacked laundry. The social area with kitchen, dining area and living room is an open design and has vaulted ceilings, a powder room, a corner gas fireplace and views of Mt. Shasta. Attached are two car garages with interior access. Slab construction insures that there are no thresholds throughout the lower level of the design. There is a slider on the view side out from the living room to a small patio. Upstairs are the second and third bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and a shared bath ideal for visiting children, grandchildren and/or care givers. Due to the location and design of the project, it is believed that the project, with minor design revisions, will quality for Eskaton Certified Home designation.
